Your first anime?

Yeah. Maybe a little borng thread, but we need to start somewhere, right?
What was your first-ever anime? And did it make you want to watch more, or are you basicly new to anime and think it's exciting? Discuss and have fun.

Mine has to be Pokemon and Sailor Moon. Man, I loved those shows as a kid. Now I watch more advanced stuff such as Higurashi and Gunslinger Girl. I've started liking the horror genre a little more.

Well, my first anime was Gundam SEED. I have the manga for GSEED and GSEED Destiny, as well as the side story: Astray Red/Blue/Gold. As you can see, it's a total addiction

heh, my first was Naruto. I remember my first thought was ''huh, a cartoon??'' but after the first half into the first episode I watched my thoughts went from skeptical to ''this is awesome!!''

Umm depends on you count the ones one saw before one knew what anime was and the diffrence betwenne it and cartoons.
If i where to count those then my first anime would be Cyborg 009 or Space Cops (dont know if thats the real name of it in english) that i saw back when i was 5 or so.
If not then it would be DragonBall Z that i watched first when i was 18 i think?

Yeah, we all watched pokemon or something like that when we were kids, but does that count? If not, my first anime was Death note which I watched when I was 13.
